About us

Victory Orphanage and Needy Foundation was established in 2002 by Victoria and her son Kwaku.The foundation is at the heart of Namong, in Offinso Municipality (central Ghana). It's the only foundation of its kind in its community. We dedicate ourselves from house to house and in the streets, searching for kids in extremely vulnerable situations. We especially focus on orphans and children living in the street.

Victory Foundation aims to secure the future of kids coming from very poor backgrounds. This non-profit educational and residential establishment is meant to serve as a bridge to fill the gap between the less and the more well-off. Our organization is currently making provision of the social and moral needs in the upbringing of the kids we take care of. Because of our performance and word of mouth reputation, the enrollment rate has progressively increased in the last few years. We currently give shelter and education to 60 girls and boys aging from 3 to 10 years old.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to foster the potential and skills of under privileged kids like orphans and street children who can't afford to attend a paid educational establishment. We firmly believe that education is the best (and to a certain extent the only) way to balance social inequalities.

We strive to accomplish the following objectives for the benefit of all, irrespective of race, religion, sex and language.

To meet the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of the children.

To support neglectec children by providing them with love, care, nourishment, guiandance and the highest level of education so that they can grow to be valued members of society with a promising future.

To help the poor and the needy in achieving self-reliance, while we carry out charitable development and relief work in co-operation with other entities.

To make all of the above possible, we aim to receive funds from international and national donors, whether they are individuals, coorporations or goverments.
